CHARLOTTE
CLEMSON

Charlotte began learning the violin at the age of three with her mother, Heather Clemson, who trained with Dr Suzuki in Japan. Whilst growing up, she loved being part of the Suzuki world, and played in string ensembles, quartets, and in orchestras including the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
After studying Music at Oxford University, Charlotte became a qualified Level 5 ESA Suzuki Teacher and now teaches the violin in south west London. She is pleased to work with Lauderdale Suzuki Group and Dulwich Suzuki Group, and she teaches regularly on a number of Suzuki residential courses and workshops, including Bryanston International Summer School and Dunfield Suzuki Course.
Alongside teaching, Charlotte has gained experience in the world of arts management, and has worked for the London Symphony Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra.
