Saoko Blendis started playing the violin at the age of 3 in Tokyo using the Suzuki method and changed to the piano at the age of 4. After graduating from Sophia University in Tokyo with a BA in journalism, she studied piano accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music and gained a postgraduate diploma. Since then she has played with a wide variety of musicians including her violinist husband Simon Blendis. She now accompanies for exams, festivals, summer courses, and concerts, and has a close relationship with Lauderdale Suzuki that began when her son started learning the violin there at the age of 3.

This group is part of the London Suzuki Group (LSG). The pupils that we have as private students are expected to attend these group lesson and to maintain active membership in the London Suzuki Group and British Suzuki Institute
